About Us
Founded in 1994, the Laredo Young Lawyers Association (LYLA) is the local affiliate of the Texas Young Lawyers Association. Deepy rooted in Laredo, Texas, LYLA is committed to the assistance of all newly licensed attorneys, and provides guidance and services to those who are paving their way in the legal world.
LYLA is passionated about growing the practice of law in our community, and it does so by encouraging young undergraduate students to pursue the study of law. Working side-by-side by Texas A&M International University's Pre-Law Society, LYLA hopes to build a community of aspiring attorneys.LYLA members serve as mentors to these students, and hgelp them through the LSAT, through the law school application process, and even through the law school experience itself.
