Amarillo Area Young Lawyers Association Bunny Hop 5k

The Bunny Hop 5k is an annual, family friendly 5k race in Amarillo. The Amarillo Area Young Lawyers Association hosts the race the Saturday before Easter, and all of the money raised is donated to local organizations.

The race costs $20 per person and $30 for families. This year the money was donated to Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas.

The Bunny Hop is attended by people from all walks of life including families, children, teens, and of course the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny encourages runners throughout the race and provides some much-needed post-race fuel (aka candy).

This year, the Bunny Hop was held on March 31 at Thompson Park and had over 150 runners compete. We hope to have even more runners compete next year to celebrate the Easter weekend and raise money for a great cause.
