Galveston County Guardian Ad Litem Seminar
By:  Jonathan Zendeh Del

Last month the Galveston County Bar Association held its biennial ad litem seminar.  Lawyers who desire to receive ad litem appointments from the Galveston County courts are required to complete the seminar, which consists of 16 hours of CLE, with 4 hours of ethics. Lawyers from all over the state attended.

The Young Lawyers Section of the Galveston County Bar Association helped set up the seminar, announce CLE presenters, and provide breakfast, lunch, and refreshments.  The Young Lawyers also sold T-shirts raising money for their annual scholarship fund and reported CLE to the State Bar.  Great job, Young Lawyers Section!
