Preferred Interview Attire: Professionalism Over Style

You only have one chance to make a first impression, which usually begins with your attire. I recently attended a law student convention that included onsite interviews. The convention was filled with hundreds of students who had an array of different styles. Many of the female attendees wore dress colors from all facets of the rainbow, while many of the male attendees wore stylish bowtie and sock combinations. Everyone looked amazing, but few were dressed appropriately for a professional interview.
